International Fashion: BritainWell my friends, I am officially running out of photos, but hopefully I can still squeeze a couple more rounds out of this bitch! Speaking of which...
JANICE, WE FINALLY GET TO ENJOY A FASHION THEME!
Alright, since this week is all about the clothes, let's go over exactly what I'm wearing: the wool waistcoat, velvet jodhpurs (pants), and leather platform boots are all Christian Dior, and the white blouse is Moschino...and if this little ensemble doesn't scream Britain, I don't know what does!
Waistcoats have been a staple in the UK since the 1600's (and recently they've become an edgy look for the ladies). The jodhpurs, or riding pants, actually originated in India, but as soon as England got ahold of them during the golden age of Polo, they made them their own, and have become just as much a fashion statement as utilitarian for riding.
I personally think it's fantastic that I'm wearing platform boots as opposed to typical riding boots (it reinforces the fact that this is indeed a fashion statement rather than a "costume"), and these boots were seen as the cutting edge of fashion in the United Kingdom during the 1970s and during the British invasion.
So yeah, that pretty much covers the theme end of things, but as far as the actual modeling goes, I admit there's not much to it, but I do think I give off a great "proud sophistication" vibe that is synonymous with the UK, and my pose certainly features the fashion!

Janice: Fashion theme ughahsklkldhs *salivates uncontrollably*.
Why yes, wealthy British polo player, I definitely see the connection to British. There were so many ways you could have gone with British fashion - From punk to Bollywood - but I'm glad you chose something that actually suits your look.
There's a lot of tension in this photo, and it's the good kind of tension. It brings a new angle to this photo, from the obvious wealthy so-and-so, it adds a dominatrix and power vibe to the photo, and that works in this photo.

Lana: I really like this. If you really running out of photo and still look great in the photo, that doesn't bother me at all. I think you look very confident. The pose is great, the angle of the photo is still great (even though you were at the side of the photo). Nice setting. My only criticism maybe your energy. I think you can give us more energy especially in your face.

Okay, okay, okay, I'll judge you!
Amanda: I like this, but I don't love it. This sort of seems like a lower-end kind of modeling - basically, something you'd see in a British sports magazine about a rookie female polo player on the rise. That doesn't change that this is a beautifully executed photo, albeit the low quality, and that your face is fierce. I do like it - the styling fits your, uh, "job," but at the same time this seems more of that kind of "job" than a fashion statement from another country. I love the boots, and based on the styling, I'd definitely lean towards you picking Britain. Overall, this isn't your best work per se, but you've been a powerhouse here. It's hard to top some of your best. This won't do it, but this surely will be good to get you through next round.

Morgan: Oh no January has the whip out! I have been a very naughty boy.
I think this photo connects well to your country. You look very posh, neat, classic and just plain clean here. I think your modeling stance is very strong and you look very in control of yourself. A bit emotionless, but maybe thats a British thing. Your horse riding outfit even brings with it a hint of high fashion, well for me anyway. Good job!

Zooey: Ok, I didn't feel like reading the description this time, but thankfully, with this photo, I didn't need to. I saw the British style in the photo already and I love it. The styling is fantastic and I love the androgyny of the photo. You have a nice, powerful stance that I adore, too.

Zooey: Ok, I didn't feel like reading the description this time. LoL, I can't help it! I'm just a ramblin' type of girl...if you think I'm bad here, imagine what I'm like in person! Im fine with your descriptions being long. If I didn't clearly see the theme in your photo, I'm sure it would definitely help me see it. I just didn't need to read the description to see the theme clearly in your photo this time. I have my moments of rambling, too. As a player, I only kept my descriptions very short because every time I gave a long description, it only seemed to hurt me. The judges would see to mock what I said and turn everything I said into a negative, so I stopped giving them much to work with. Otherwise, I love rambling, too
