Let the Games Begin!
If anyone is confused as to who I was last season, my haircut to the right should clear things up for you. That’s right ladies, the judge is ready to be judged! I’m not entirely sure why I decided to demote myself to “model” this time around, but it will certainly be a nice change of pace!
I chose January Jones because not only is she gorgeous, but I like the fact that her portfolio is a nice small manageable size. Of course, this also means I may be eliminated early if lovely Lana decides to throw a god awful theme our way, but it’ll be fun while it lasts!
I basically know who all of the other players (and judges) are, and the only girl who's irritating the shit out of me so far is Dianna. I know she's excited for the season to officially begin, but Jesus Christ, take a pill and relax.
I'm not gonna go into details about who I think the biggest threats are yet, because I want to wait and see how these girls settle into their grooves. The way I see it, success or failure really comes down to the themes, the players' intelligence (or lack thereof), and the overall stylistic preferences of the judges.

Eyebrows. Definitely the eyebrows. I have a very small (but very gorgeous) portfolio too and I have used about half of my usable photos for avatars already. Across six cycles now. Seven pictures since blonde is so not my thing. I'm a brunette. And a hat person.  Glad to see that you're giving playing a whirl! I haven't yet. I enjoy judging too much xD Good luck |

Hey January... How does it feel now that you're being judged by 3 people that you used to judge before? It's a bit unnerving to be honest! I really do think it's great though, and I'm a firm believer in karma, so I fully expect to get back just as much as I dished out last season, HaHa. Luckily, I think Janice and I have about the same taste when it comes to judging photos (when I saw her as a judge, I've agreed with her critiques more than anyone else). I also love Morgan to death, and I'm really excited to see how her distinct performance as a model translates to judging. Zooey is the big question mark for me! I know she placed in the top three last season, but when looking at her entire portfolio, I could definitely sense that themes became more of a priority than drop-dead gorgeousness sometimes. I'm not sure if that will be how she judges things as well, but it will be interesting to see! Any particular judge that you want to impress this week? Why? This week is about mixing high fashion with a strong concept, so I think more than anyone else I'd like to see what Zooey thinks. I've got a pretty good grasp on what you, Janice, and Amanda like to see when it comes to fashion, but I'm clueless when it comes to Zooey. If I can figure out where she stands in this regard early in the season, it'll definitely help me further down the road. I think Morgan is more of a "gut instinct" type of girl, so hopefully as long as I look fabulous and follow the theme, she won't get hung up on micro-details (like Amanda and I tend to do lol). |
