Hello Girls!!!
Welcome to London, England!!!!
This week you need to submit a photo of your celebrity based on your choice of occupation. First let's see your choice of occupation
January - Lifeguard
Katie - Russian Spy
Liv - Swimmer (First Photo) & Detective (Second Photo)
Mariah - DNS
Rachel - Doctor
Zoe - Actress
Now, onto your photo this week
Zooey: I might be more fond of this picture than you. I definitely see a lifeguard in this picture and you look beautiful, too. While the bathing suit itself isn't regulation uniform, the color and basic shape are very reminiscent. It gives a nice allusion to your occupation without being completely literal. The setting is nice since it looks like a rock formation you might see at some beaches. I also love your windblown hair for this picture.
Amanda: This is good, but not great - it's probably better than you think it is, but it lacks the "WOW" factor you've already shown us so many times. I, like Zooey (since when does Zooey judge before me? xD), love the windblown hair, and the higher-fashion swimsuit could definitely suffice for a lifeguard in a place like Acapulco (given the cliffs). I am not sure what that thing on your wrist is, but that's no big deal. You look gorgeous, and even if this isn't your most striking photo ever, it's continuing the trend of your awesomeness. You are definitely the model to beat in this competition.
Lana: I really like the photo. You look very beautiful and sexy. Pamela? Who? Your eyes are crazyyy good this week. I love the way you connect to the camera. It really reach through my heart. Styling is great. I love the wind on your hair. You're definitely the one to beat right now
Morgan: Hellooo Pamela! You look really beautiful and flawless here, the wind tossed hair, the fierce strong stare and your body looks impeccable too. Lifeguards in Australia usually have on a different form of outfit, but this is a modell-y type of lifeguard and still fits well with your chosen occupation. Very nice and sexy.
Janice: I love that you've managed to take something and make it high fashion with that swimsuit. You're sizzling sexy and look flawless. That ice blonde hair really sets off your features!
Janice: Okay, so what here makes you a "Russian" spy? I don't really see the Russian part of this. The spy part I can see in that dark trenchcoat, but you mustn't be a good spy if you were caught in this photo. I would have loved to see you more in action, and take a risk. This is really safe.
Amanda: This isn't horrible. I can definitely see a Russian vibe here given your face and hair. I think the setting screams "headquarters," so the point of "being caught" is moot. The trenchcoat is nice and you are modeling it, but like Janice said... it's a bit safe. There's nothing that makes it "pop" for me. It's not your best, but it's not bad, either. It's just good.
Morgan: I'm glad you told us what your occupation was or else I would have been lost. I can see the Russian spy, as Amanda said in your hair, eyes and trenchcoat. That setting does have that crime scene feel, but other than that I think this photo has a weak connection to the theme and compared to what the other models have been submitting. I must say though, I do love the strength in your face and I think you are presenting a dark, mysterious side of yourself which entices me.
Zooey: I'm with Janice in seeing the "spy" part of this photo, but not the "Russian" part. You do look beautiful in this and had you just stuck with the word "spy" you might have faired a bit better in the rankings this round, but this picture is still fine. There's nothing really that memorable about it, but it's just a solid picture, anyway.
Lana: Agree with Zoeey. The word spy only was enough for the photo. I love the fact that you made being a spy so fashionable. Remind me of Sydney Bristow who is my favorite spy after all. She'll be proud with you. Once again, your face in the photo is so clear and beautiful.
Amanda: Enough with the black and white already! We've already seen this side of you, only this time, there's nothing that makes it "pop" to atone for the lack of color. There's nothing horribly wrong with it, but there's nothing this does for me. There's nothing that I'm going to remember about it - good or bad. Your face is okay. Your hair is okay. The swimsuit would be nice in color. The robe/towel is fine. But this is just drab. Nothing speaks to me! I really can't elaborate. It's just average all around, and with only six left... that's not a good thing :/
Lana: Your pose a little bit awkward. Not so sure with your energy in the photo. I do like this hairstyle on you though. Your eye contact is great too. I wish there would be something more exciting in the photo to make this photo more memorable. Hmm. I think you can do better than this girl!!!
Amanda: You are really rockin' that trenchcoat. I love that, but I, like Lana (and likely Janice) will say, WE WANT MORE NECK! Though, really, that's the only thing I have to complain about. This definitely looks like a crime scene, and since you have setting and a much better modelesquity, this is definitely an improvement. And it's in COLOR! Good work here, Liv
Morgan: Im glad you used your second photo I much prefer this to the last one. You look like you have an determined and frustrated attitude which I like and goes well with the inspector theme. It would have been good to see some neck, but your strong stance and posture makes up for that. The lace coming down from your dress is annoying and is making me laugh, but thats just minor styling quibbles.
Janice: RUN! IT'S THE NO NECK MONSTER! . RUN BACK TO LIV! IT'S THE REAL NO NECK MONSTER! (PS. Morgan, that's you irl)
This is far better than your first photo, but the fact you're a detective inspector isn't really hitting me, I mean apart from the trench coat. I would have loved to see some more detectivey stuff.
Lana: Yup, this is much better than the first one. You styling really look like a detective with a good fashion sense. The setting was better than your first photo. I still think you can improve your pose. A little bit awkward and the angle especially on your face wasn't good. I can feel those beautiful neck screamed and asked for my help to free her. I'm so sad now!!! But overall this photo is definitely better than the first one
Liv: Well, obviously as a detective I'm searching for the criminal who stole my neck.
Zooey: I didn't really dislike your first photo, but this one is definitely an improvement, anyway. I definitely see the detective in your photo and the pose is a nice, stern one that I would associate with a woman on the case. I think there have been more flattering pictures of you out there and while I'm not normally a stickler for neck showing, but the high collar on your coat does make your head appear to be too close to your shoulders. I'm fine with the neck not showing as long as the proportions still look right, but in this instance, that collar just throws it off. In the end, the theme is strong and the modeling is good. So I'd say this is a good outing for you this week.
Janice: If it isn't the vagrant gypsy doctor. Your legs are long and beautiful here, Rachel. But your face is kind of bored. Where are your patients? All I see is patience. I want to see a bit more enthusiasm!
And the stethoscope! .... .... Wait I get it "Hart of Dixie"!
Lana: I love the styling and setting. I bet you have a lot of male patient. And Morgan, don't you pretend that you are sick now!!!. I think you can do more with your face. I want more emotion with your face. But overall, this photo is good. I think you pulled it well
Morgan: Sorry it look me so long to reply, I was sick in Alabama and my doctor took forever to come and help me *stares*
Well I'm glad you have that telescope in your hand or else I wouldn't have guessed that you were a traveling doctor, but you do so it ties in everything else in the photo perfectly. I'm loving your legs, as always and the tone of your skin matches well with the setting giving it a very earthy feeling. The look of boredom on your face is a little unappealing but the way that your facial features stand out, make up for that for me. Your face is very clear and strong, overall I think this is a good job.
Amanda: The connection to the theme could be a bit better - yes, I see you're a doctor, but you're not owning it. You almost look like you're aspiring to be a doctor - all you have is that stethoscope, which, mind you, is fantastic - especially the heart shape. The suitcases can be almost anything, however... it just isn't what it could be. However, after that... WOW. I can totally bet a LOT of men, not just Morgan, would want you to check up on them. You're gorgeous. Your legs, the hair, the styling... this is a highly appealing modeling shot. I happen to like your face. You're calm and focused, though bored also. Aside from you not owning the theme, I -REALLY- like this, so great work
Zooey: The doctor aspect of the photo is present, but could have been more prevalent. The stethoscope is really the only clue as to what your occupation is. This is still a beautiful picture and you look beautiful in it. For me, the pose also doesn't quite match the theme you've chosen, either. For some reason this picture makes me think of Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman, so I guess you get bonus points for that
Amanda: You ARE an actress. Your job is... what you already do? I get a serious film noir vibe from this, and it is good, but I'm kind of baffled that you're not going out of your comfort zone. This isn't broad enough. This doesn't go beyond who you are, and that's what we want here. This is pretty, but way too safe, and not the most memorable.
Morgan: Wow you have pulled the theme off well this week. You are definately portraying an actor, but the posing looks a little clique and fake. However the styling is great, you are bringing a lot of fashion to this shoot and are selling it. Your face looks flawless, so clear and stands out so well. Good job this week.
Janice: That's cheating. CHEATERRRRR! But that face is breathtaking, so I'll let it slide this one time. Not to mention that neck! Those legs! That arm! not the other one though, that hand is weird. You could've just called yourself a producer or a director, and it still would've worked, and not be cheating.
I think it's a bit safe, just in regards to what you chose for your theme. But I think this is a very memorable picture.
Lana: I think the photo is amazing. You look beautiful. I love your body proportion in the photo. The styling and setting are amazing. But the fact that you choose to be an actress kinda ruined it. I'm really upset since this photo is memorable and amazing. Definitely my favorite so far but other models picked much more interesting occupation. A little bit 50/50 on that.
Zoe: Well... being an actress and a celebrity are two separate things. The instruction said that we're celebrities and you wanted to see another side of us.
I chose actress and I think I've shown this occupation well. Being an actress is not just looking pretty on the red carpet but it's also loads of hours spending on rehearsals. Actors are working in front of the camera and next to it. (Which is literally shown in this photo) I've shown you how the occupation of actress works, different side of me than being a celebrity and my photo has some fashion values so I think I did the task properly. If you think that I deserve to be ranked last than feel free to do so. I'm not going to use a second photo. If other models have better photos than this, I'm pretty sure I don't have anything else, which is good enough to beat them.
Zooey: When I first saw the theme for this round, I said to myself "I will be very disappointed with anyone who chooses their real occupation as their occupation for this round." I won't say "you're a celebrity, so choosing actress is the same thing." I'll say "You're an actress, so choosing actress is the same thing." My problems with your occupation selection aside, I do like your setting as it fits well with the theme you chose. I love the pose you have, too. You definitely look like a model, but you also look like an actress doing some vocal warm-up exercises. So, I appreciate that you were able to blend those two things together well.
