Hello Girls!!!
Welcome to your Seventh Judging Session.
I knew you girls have been waiting for this, so let's start our judging session now!!!
Janice: It's nice to see you're not looking as ancient as you used to in previous shoots, and you do look very commercial here, but it's just so boring! You're putting me to sleep!
Lana: You look very young and fresh. Nice styling, great instrument, but Janice was right, it was quite boring. But I really like your look this week. Fresh and commercial
Morgan: Your looking young once again! Your clique certainly matches your photo and I like how you are still looking very fashionable and like a model here. But as the other judges have said, theres just no spark, nothing that gives it that extra kick to make you stand out. Gotta stop holding back and release all of your modelling fury and fierceness!
Amanda: I do not like this. You look like you're up to something and it's not good. Your devilish grin just takes so much away from this shot, and the poor coloration is just drab and boring. This is just... no. I'm sorry Dannii, but this could be it for you :/
Dianna: Very unique and different for me. I was like you must be want to submit something from Glee but I was wrong. I love that you took the risk here.
Amanda: Yeah, this wasn't what I expected, but nothing about it "pops" for me. You fit your cheerleader spot well, but you don't own it - you try to look graceful, but you don't pull it off completely. It's just okay, really - your hair is good, the styling is good, and everything works, but there is that logo in the corner and there is nothing that stands out about it. It's not bad, but I'm not going to remember it. Sorry :/
Janice: You're too safe with a smile here rather than a bitch please look. A scowl would've made this photo, and the pose much better. There's a disjoint in your theme with that element of the face. The face is everything.
Morgan: I think you are playing a little too safe. The pictures you have been taking lately have been edgy and risky but great. You have fit the theme well with this photo but have lost that spark that you usually bring to your photos. I like how you look like you are a real cheerleader, you look young, pretty, popular and all the rest. I think you have a lot of strength in your modelling here which I enjoy, and I like the styling wearing high heals and the school girl outfit. You have done well, but its a bit too safe this time.
Lana: I think you gave us two great photos. It's going to be hard for me to pick which photo. I love the styling for 'Bad Girl'. Very edgy, rough and bad!!!. While for the 'Good Girl', you look very calm, serene and sweet. The puppy really help added the sweetness in your photo. Good job for both photos
Janice: Contrast! There's great contrast here! For me, your bad girl photo is a lot stronger than your good girl photo. Your bad girl, it's dark, and it's edgy! It's fabulous! Your good girl, I think it's safe. You look like a top model in your bad girl photo, and your good girl is just a girl next door.
Amanda: I... agree with Janice. The bad girl photo rocks the "model" vibe while maintaining a certain aura of innocence that's dissipating, while the "good girl" photo is something you would post on Facebook when you got a new puppy. The "bad girl" is striking, fierce, and definitely a new route for you. It's not my favorite photo ever, but it's damn good and definitely better than last week. So let's go with that one
Zooey: Unlike every single person I've ever seen who has had the "Submit 2 Photos" reward, you submitted two really good photos, so it will be hard to choose which one to rank. I love the styling in the first photo. You nailed that cliche 100%. I love the dark mascara around your eyes, I love the wet, stringy hair, I love your dark lips, and I love the outfit you're wearing. It all works so well together and you still look like a model. In your second photo, the brightness of your outfit, your windblown hair, and the fact that you're holding a puppy, all lends itself really well to the good girl theme. In the end, I think I had a stronger reaction to your first photo and I think the modeling aspect of the first photo is stronger than the second, so I'll probably rank your Bad Girl look.
Morgan: You can be my bad girl any day! I love how this looks like the typical yearbook photo that all the students get, and you look like you are an actual student with a bad girl image. You have a "dont mess with me" look on your face, the contours of your face look great here and the styling overall is fabulous. I will be ranking this photo as well.
The good girl photo is cute, I definately see innocence and a "daddy's girl" vibe coming from here. The puppy is oh so cute! And you look amazing here too. As the judges have said you have really chosen two great photos, good job.
Amanda: I like how you look young and fresh here - it's another side of you. What I do not like is the blank background, since we want something more than a studio shoot for this. At the same time, that blank background makes you pop more - perhaps this is a senior picture? I love the pose, I love the attitude, and the hair works wonders. The clothes are kind of slutty without being trashy - you definitely are a "bad girl" and you're owning it. Good job
Janice: Run! It's the no neck monster with 8 chins! When I saw this in your samples, I prayed that you'd find something better, because this is dull and has no modelling quality. You look like you're posing for a men's magazine. Of course, part of this theme is posing for the men's magazine, but you're not doing it in a GQ way, nor in a Playboy way, you're even doing it in a Hustler way. It's in a really low end porno magazine style. Modelling-wise, it just doesn't pull it through for me.
Morgan: Well you are definitely giving off a bad girl vibe here. Your fashionable and yet representing your clique so well. I like the strength and power in your modeling here, you look very confident in yourself. I actually like the angle of your face, I feel as if you are trying to stare me down and you have a lot of tension and strength in your face. It would have been good to have a background that wasn't just white, but it makes you stand out more and the emphasis is more on you. So I guess it both works for you but also works against you in the photo isn't as memorable or exciting as it could be.
Lana: I love your styling. Very good and BADASS!!! I love your confident in this photo. This is something new from you. I think you did well, Katie
Morgan: Yay, I totally suggested this one You really do look like a bad girl. You have the fashionable, yet grunge look going on. Your face and body language looks like your walking across the school yard about to kick someone in the face. And I love how this looks like a action shot and yet is modeled so well at the same time. I think you did a great job this time around.
Amanda: I don't like your hair. I like everything else. You're modeling a "grunge" look indeed and owning it - you've become that role, and the black and white sort of makes this look classic. I actually like it. The setting is great, and I want your shoes. Your face screams "bad girl" even if it would be weak with any other theme. Overall, this is very good, Liv!
Janice: You should've chose mine! Mine is far superior because I chose it! But this was from the same shoot as my one, so I'll forgive it. This time. Your legs look great here, and the demonic expressions works super.
Lana: Thank you for choosing this photo. Not sure about Janice's photo since I never saw it but this photo for me is very 'moving'. I love the styling. And the fact that you connect well to the camera is really great. I can feel the inner 'Badass' in this photo.
Janice: Well, you look peaceful here, and one with nature. Like a hippie. BUT MY GOD, WOMAN! LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THOSE BOOBS! They're as big as my head! Your photo was executed wonderfully.
Amanda: This is a nice melon-scented portrayal of innocence. You look great and very peaceful but are not over-the-top with tye-dye and peace symbols. You look a bit hoochy but you're a hippie and that makes it forgivable. I find it more pretty myself. The styling works well for Knocker and Melon here (you know I had to ). This is one of your best shots yet and a major improvement upon some of what we've seen. Great job!
Morgan: BOOBS! Sorry my manly instincts just cant resist. I like this photo of you. You look serene and calm, and yet mysterious at the same time. The overall styling is great and you look like you belong in this environment. I definitely could see you as that hot hippie chick in class who is always dancing through the trees at lunch time. I actually really like the angle of your face here, it gives you a kind of quirky, inquisitive vibe which I enjoy. Good job this week!
Lana: I like the setting. Suitable for your photo. The styling is good too. I love the 'innocent' in your face. This week, I think you look sexy without trying to hard. That's what I like about your photo this week
Janice: Your fashion in this photo is really bad, but I'm willing to forgive that. I like it. I think this photo is great! Your styling is horrible and tacky, and it works, that's what the weirdo thing is all about. Your face is magic. I love it.
Lana: I love your face here. Even though, the stylist was trying to transform you into the weirdo, you still look sexy and pretty. The styling was definitely bad, but that's how a Weirdo supposed to look like. You did scared me though!!!
Zooey: I LOVE this picture. I laughed a bit when it came up, but as far as cliche you chose, you nailed it. I love the look on your face and while I'd normally hate the styling, for the theme chosen, it fits so well that I absolutely love it. Great job this week.
Morgan: haha! *chants* Weirdo Rachel, weirdo Rachel.
Okay I'll stop now. You pulled this off so well! You have that "my mum thinks im special so screw you" look on your face which makes me laugh so much. Your styling is horrible but that translates into a really good job for your clique. And yet after all of that you still manage to look cute. I love the energy and personality you put into your shots girl!
Amanda: I find this to be the least attractive photo you have submitted, but you're taking the theme and owning it. You are definitely a nerdy girl who talks fast and doesn't give a damn what she's wearing. That is a "weirdo" in my book. I actually happen to LIKE this quite a bit. It's sexy in a really weird way, which is exactly what I pictured. You're on a roll, Rachel, and I can foresee myself picking you for All-Stars... for old time's sake
Janice: Class dancer? Yes. Class clown. Maybe, I do see it. Here though perhaps make laugh in your description should have been replaced with entertain. Class clowns grave attention! And that outfit's not funny, it's fashionable. Regardless of that, however, good to see week 1 Zoe back.
Morgan: You look like a very graceful, pretty class clown. Not the class clowns I would usually expect to see, like ones who throw food and pencils into the fan and start working out in the middle of class. But I actually really like this photo of you. I definately see a dancer like Janice mentioned. And I can see some subtle humour by the way your shadow doesn't match your pose, and the fact that your outfit does look funny and yet somehow looks fashionable at the same time. Very nice strong modelling, your stretching your height out to the max. Well done.
Lana: I think this photo combine fashion and class clown really well. Your body language as always look good. Very graceful and your legs are your best features in this photo. I want to see more joy on your face expression. Clown supposed to be happy all the time right? But the styling in this photo is great.
Amanda: I don't see class clown at all in this photo. You look older here, as opposed to younger, and you seem to be in a trance. You're not goofing around like the class clown would. My "class clown moment" came when I was a total zombie during last period and the class was discussing what we had for breakfast, and when this jock came up I mouthed "girls" under my breath but so people could hear it. The jock was like, "YEAH! THAT!" and he actually enjoyed it.
When I think "class clown," I think of things like that. The reaction to that was HYSTERICAL. I want to see laughter, I want to see joy, I want to see you owning it. This is you being high-fashion, but not owning it. I can't connect to your weak face. Although I typically like hats, yours looks tacked on with Photoshop and looks really dorky. I also hate that shadow in the background, since it's CREEPY because it isn't yours.
I'm sorry, Zoe, but I can't connect this to the theme and you're not doing enough to make this stand out for me. Your legs and posing are good, but you don't have the energy here. You look like a hypnotized acrobat, not a class clown. You come nowhere near my expectations with the role you chose, and that's going to hurt you a lot :/
