Hello Girls!!!
Welcome to your Fourth Judging Session for this cycle!!! This week you need to submit a photo of your celebrity promoting the shoes.
Let's see the photos this week!!
Amanda: This idea could have turned out so much better than this. Right now, it looks like the quality is off, and you're not at all excited to be going a Marilyn Monroe route. Honestly, the dated garb here hits me too - you're doing a throwback, yet not hitting a home run. Your weak expression makes it all the worse. I notice your legs a lot - and they look great - but I hardly see your shoes. Mix that with a lack of energy... and this really doesn't do anything for me. This, in concept, could have been great... but it just isn't, sorry :/
Lana: The quality is a little bit off. Kinda blurry for me but I love the styling. The pose was good too. I think you're in control here. Beautiful shoes!!! Overall, good job for me
Janice: First thing I really noticed about this was the quality. That's especially not a good thing when the photo is supposed to be about the shoes! Your face looks like you're constipated, and your right arm looks deformed. But those legs look great, and they definitely separate the shoes from the rest of the picture, which does make them stand out.
Morgan: Not to sound like a broken record, but the blurry quality is very distracting. But I think you look great in this! Your legs look amazing, you look like a flexible barbie doll in this. I like the shoes, they are cute but nothing spectacular.
Zooey: I'm not a fan of the low quality used in the picture. The pose is decent and the shoes are the focal point of the picture, so you pulled off the theme well.
Lana: I think you manage to sell the shoes really well here. But your pose was kinda awkward. You don't look comfortable and the angle of your face is just weird.. But those shoes are so beautiful!!
Morgan: You are really selling these shoes here, I definitely wanna buy a pair of those beauties...for my friend of cause not for me. I like the fact that your pose leads up to the shoes being the center of attention, and your legs look great in this to which make the shoes look even better. You look young and graceful here, but in your face I see some wear and tear, your skin has some tension in it. But overall I think you have done a good job for this photoshoot
Amanda: Way better than the last two rounds. This is an appealing shoe advertisement, and the unique concept works real well - the shoes really do attract my attention. They just don't "pop" like they could. I like the styling, especially your hair - you look so much younger and fresher here, which is what we've been wanting from you. The quality is a bit low, but really - it's a big step up from what you've been giving us. Good work!
Janice: You look like you have Bell's Palsy; your face is really uneven. And again, as Morgan mentioned, we have those wrinkled lines on your face. One thing you do have in control over your body, but your face looks incredibly uncomfortable. You had two selling points here for this shoot: Your face, and your shoes. If your face looks as uncomfortable as it is in this, it makes me think those shoes are uncomfortable. I don't want to buy them in that case. As a result you miss the point of selling the shoes. Christina, when you read this, it counts for you too.
Zooey: I really don't like your face in this picture. This is a good pose to show off shoes, though, so the theme incorporation was done well.
Lana: It's very risky. I wish we could get better view of your shoes. The styling is very different from "Dianna" that we have seen before. Quite interesting for me.
Morgan: Wow now this is different. I like your pose here actually, its very hunchback from Notre Dam but still a model pose. I don't like how your arms and shoulders are so twisted in that it looks like you have no chest, that makes the pose look slightly weird but I still do like it. The shoe and a half that I can see in this photo look great, but I wish that you had emphasized them a bit more, especially so both shoes were on showcase and stood out. I think it would have been good if you had focused your modelling around the shoes, instead of focusing your modelling purely and leaving the shoes lay wherever they end up.
Amanda: This is in no way an advertisement for shoes. I barely notice your feet given the way you're hunched over them. That's a pretty major problem, since we specifically wanted you to sell the shoes on your feet. Now, apart from that, this is great - it's memorable, it's eye-catching, and it's very unique and different, especially from you. It's sexy without being trashy. Your hair looks good like this, but I want to see your eyes! They look like black holes here! It's a very good picture... it just doesn't fit with the idea we want.
Janice: Your modelling is great here, there's lots of different and interesting angles, but you've missed the point of this shoot. WHERE ARE YOUR SHOES?! Oh they're right there. They are hidden with a combination of your pose, your clothes and your set. They don't stand out.
Zooey: I love how interesting this picture is. Is such a very unique shot and definitely a new look for you. That said, the theme incorporation is very poor in this photo. We only see one shoe and even then, it's pretty well disguised.
Amanda: You look more scared than sexy here. You look like you're nervous about something that's looking for you. I also don't like how the shoes are front and center, yet they don't "pop" like they could. I think the pose may be to blame for that - you're not selling them well enough. It may be because your outfit is all black, and the black shoes sort of take a back seat. If they were red and your pose was a bit better, I would love this. It just looks like you're uncomfortable right now, and nothing about this is making me remember it. Sorry :/
Lana: Beautiful shoes. Great pose but your face!!! I'm not sure about your face. I don't think you manage to attract people to buy those shoes. You look so scared. I think you can do way better than this Eva because you have huge potential
Janice: What happened? Did you see Morgan naked?
You need to be a lot more consistent. You've been really strong the past couple of weeks, but you've gone back to what you were in week 1.
Morgan: As the other judges have mentioned, you look really scared here Eva. It doesn't look as if you want to be photographed and because of that, there isn't much strength in this photo. The way your legs are positioned doesn't look flattering, and makes you look a little chubby. It doesn't look like you are selling the shoes and they dont stand out. I have to remind myself of what this weeks theme is in order to search for them, this isn't your best photo. The only positive thing I can comment on is your skin, you have beautiful flawless skin.
Zooey: Oh, I was just informed that I have to judge based off your first photo. How unfortunate...
Ok, so I don't like your scared face in the photo, you look very hoochie in this, and the sweat glistening isn't very flattering in this picture. The one saving grace is that the shoes are a focal point.
Amanda: I don't know what stands out to me more here - the black and white or the fact that you're naked. That's a bit over-the-top for a shoe shoot, and the black and white hurts more than it helps - the light-colored shoes don't "pop" as much as they could. If you recolored them to be a beige or something, to contrast the black and white, they would pop instantly. They stand out somewhat, but that's because 1) they're just brighter than everything and 2) they're the only things you're wearing. I see the "sexy" before I see the "shoes" and a splash of color could have fixed that. But really now... you're gorgeous. Your expression is voluptuous. The pose and idea are great. This really is a strong photo - you just don't sell the shoes like you could. Even the slightest hint of color there would have made me want to give this first callout. But hey, you'll take top four, right?
Lana: I love this photo. The pose is very natural and the angle is great. You're selling the shoes pretty well here. Gorgeous. I love the fact that even though you are naked here, you manage to avoid being trashy. My only suggestion is if your shoes here are in different color. Maybe Red or Bright Green, just to make sure the shoes pop out more
Morgan: You've got me there! Well this photo certainly does do the talking, your not wrong there. I really like this! You have some fierceness in that face of yours, and tension in all the right areas. Your face is really strong here. I love the fact that your nude and yet it still looks very arty and model like, its not a hoochie or cheap photo its very sophisticated. Your shoes do stand out here and they look great, but I agree with the other judges in that adding color to the shoes would have made this photo explode with greatness!
Janice: Very risky indeed going with a nude photo around here. This is what we're looking for if you're going to do a hunched pose to sell shoes. Legs are very important in a shoot like this: They are what leads the way to the shoes. Especially since you're all covered up, and you're only wearing shoes, it really draws the attention to the shoes. The harsh white of them helps them stand out more. Great job. I like it.
Zooey: I really like this photo. I do wish the shoes themselves were in color while the rest of the picture stayed black and white. However, even with the shoes being in black and white, they still pop to me. I love the pose and styling of your photo. Basically, I just love your photo this week. Good job.
Janice: You look about 50 and really bored, and the photo is boring. It's different to many others, but it's not a risk. It's very safe. The pose is just plain.
Lana: 50? I don't see a 50 years old woman here. I think you look way younger with shorter hair, Katie. You look a little bit matured here. But, nice shoes. Love Jimmy Choo!!! Like your styling. Except the hair!!!
Amanda: I see someone older here, but not THAT old. I love those shoes, but they don't stand out - they aren't being SOLD here. Even though they're awesome shoes and your dress is great... I don't see the energy here! You do look older - part of it is the way your hair is styled, part of it is your face. You look burnt out. But still those shoes are <3, I just wish we could see 'em better.
Morgan: You do look aged here, and the photo looks dated which makes it less appealing to me. The pose doesn't stand out to me, but I do like how you have a nice arch in your back and the fact that you have a great body makes the pose strong. It looks like your smizing which I am thoroughly enjoying, your face looks great in this. I love your shoes! The text in this photo isn't a issue to me at all.
Zooey: You definitely look a little aged and weathered in this photo. It's a fine pose and it's different from what we're getting from the other girls this week, but it still works. The theme incorporation helps this photo this week.
Lana: I just love the shoes. I think the shoes are at the center of attention here. But I'm not sure about your face. I mean you supposed to send the message to the customers to buy the shoes, but you look a little bit creepy here. But apart from them, I think this photo is really amazing. The angle was so great!!!
Amanda: This is great. It's unique and not the typical shoe ad. Those shoes are really RED and stand out to me, not to mention they're fantastic. You look great - sexy and high-fashion, although I'm not sure about that finger. It's a little creepy, like Lana said, and your face is a bit unsettling. That doesn't change that I really enjoy this, though
Janice: Great focus on the shoes, but bad wardrobe, bad styling, bad modelling. Though your body is great... Your arms are awful, and that face: You look like you haven't slept in 10 years, and you're 60 years old. And what's up with that eye. You have one eye and one white.
Morgan: You actually look a little hoochie for me in this Liv.. Your styling, makeup and hair looks rough and messy. You don't seem to be actually modelling, the thing that stands out the most to me is that weird looking pose in your hand. The thing I like the most about this photo is your legs, the shoes look great on you and compliment you.
Zooey: The shoes being red probably helps this for me as I'm not sure if I'd have been drawn to them immediately if they were a different color. It's an interesting pose you decided to go with this week and I like it when people take chances. Not completely a fan of your eyes in this photo, but it work well with the pose itself, so I can excuse it.
Janice: Your upper torso looks really long, that's a bad thing. Your neck does look long, but it doesn't look good. Some people can pull off that angle, and you can't. And your legs look really short, and the shoes... They blend in with the box.
Lana: My favorite photo from you so far. You look very energetic, comfortable and those turquoise-color shoes are gorgeous!!! I'm a fan of you this week, Mimi
Amanda: This is okay for me. On the good front, you have good energy and it translates well to the ad, but the shoes aren't front and center - they're in the lower corner. The shoes are not what my attention is drawn to - it's your face, your energy, your brighting up the room. This is a great photo, it just doesn't sell the shoes well, and that's what we wanted. Still, it's a hell of a lot better than pretty much anything you've given us, so that alone will keep you around
Morgan: You do look flawless in this, your skin looks like perfection, great elongating of your neck and you look just long in general in this. Your not just slumped over, you are modelling head to toe. I don't like how your facial expression looks fake and cheesy, and your angle of your face tilting upwards doesn't compliment you very much. Tilting your face downwards towards the camera, with some strength in your face would make this look better for me. You do stand out, and actually steal the attention away from the shoes but regardless the shoes do look good.
Zooey: Ok, I feel like I've probably been the judge who's been hardest on you in the competition, but this week, I actually like your photo. Your shoes are the focal point, but you're not lost in the rest of the photo. I wish your eyes were open and maybe that you had some bangs so that your forehead didn't look so big, but in the end, this is probably my favorite photo from you so far.
Lana: So many people are doing this kinda of pose this week, but you're my favorite so far. Love the shoes. I think you manage to promote the shoes here. The pose a little bit weird but interesting. I think your face expression could be better but overall girl, I like the photo
Amanda: Are those... slippers? Really high heels? And where the hell are your feet? Are they... vertical? That just seems unnatural, and... uh... I really don't know. My eyes are drawn to them, but I think more about what they are than whether or not I'd buy them. Those just look really uncomfortable... reminds me of when I wore those five-inchers...
This is just okay, really. I'm not sure how high-fashion it is, and I find it more awkward than anything. It's probably just how you're posing them - I can't get a good grasp of what these shoes are given how the angle and everything are.
Janice: One of your legs is great, the other is pointing at an angle away from the plane of the camera. That really hurts the shoe selling point, and makes it look really awkward. You know you kind of look like a boy dressed up in women's lingerie and looking at your new drag shoes. Except your face is female, and it still looks pretty awkward.
Morgan: Now this is different. I actually really like your pose, its as if you are pushing the shoes up to the top of the picture to make them the center of attention. You look like your having fun, your body looks great and your facial expression looks cute. Legs legs legs!
I dont particularly like the shoes, but thats just personal preference. The shoes look great and they stand out to me, this would make a great shoe advertisement.
Zooey: What was that clicking sound? Oh I'm just keeping track of how many times I see this pose this week. Still, I can't knock you for the use of this pose since you all have no way of knowing what pose the other girls are using this week, so you had no way of knowing that about half the girls in the competition are using this pose. As I've said with the others, it's a good pose for showing off shoes. Probably why we're seeing so much of it. I love the color of the photo and you look creepy and cute at the same time.
Amanda: Weak. Your shoes are not what I notice here. They don't pop. You don't pop. This is dull. This is bland. There's not much this does that makes it unique. Sorry. :/
Janice: I don't know, I think you look sort of cute and innocent. It's a good shot of modelling I think, there's just something endearing about it. But the shoes definitely don't pop out.
Lana: I love those shoes!!! Pretty!! But the angle wasn't so great. My eyes went straight to the dress first. Your face could be better.
Morgan: I agree with Janice, you do look really sweet and innocent here, like a little girl who is getting a photo and is nervous so your playing with your dress. I love pink, so I love this photo and the styling. The shoes add some edgyness to the photo and your styling. Your face does look weak here, I cant see much strength or expression.
Zooey: Ouch, not a fan of your face in this shoot. I do easily notice your shoes, but I wish you didn't look so scared in this picture. Not the most flattering one of you.
Amanda: You look extremely, uh... I have no idea. You look like you pasted your head onto someone else's body here. Can you even turn your neck like that? It just seems really unnatural.
I do see the shoes here, and I can definitely see this as a shoe ad. It's just unsettling to me given how your head is position. I want more NECK!
Lana: Beautiful shoes, beautiful legs, beautiful styling, beautiful pose, but where's your neck!!!! You look great here. But the 'no-neck' is a little bit turn off for me.
Janice: No neck! You look old! You body is really tense! Those shoes don't go with your wardrobe! And those legs go forever! My god, they're amazing!
Morgan: ITS THE EXORCIST! This photo is freaky, I cant stop looking at your face which is looking at me, it looks so unnatural.
But.. I like the background, it looks like a sales pitch that is trying to say "these shoes are so awesome and amazing it will make you feel like your floating in air!" You look flawless, and man those legs. You are modelling in this especially in your legs which make the shoes look great on you.
Yeah, it does look like your face was plastered onto someone else's body. That said, it's a nice pose, the shoes are very prominent, and your legs do go on forever. And that's a good thing. The lack of a neck is disturbing, but I like everything from theneck shoulders down.

Good job.

The lack of a neck is disturbing, but I like everything from the
